Hormones are particles secreted and produced by hormonal glands in your body. Hormones are released to the blood and journey to other areas for the human body where they result in certain responses from specific cells. Steroid hormones are based on cholesterol levels and they are lipid-soluble particles. Types of steroid hormones range from the intercourse hormones (androgens, estrogens, and progesterone) made by male and gonads being feminine hormones for the adrenal glands (aldosterone, cortisol, and androgens).
