Billy Walters Test Celebrity Witness Embezzled from Battered Women’s Charity to finance Gambling, Hookers

Gambling, soliciting prostitutes, ripping down a ladies’ charity and leaking sensitive and painful company information, it’s all just another day in the office, evidently, for the former chairman of America’s milk-processing companies that are biggest.

William ‘Billy’ Walters leaves a Manhattan court that is federal. He is alleged to possess made $43 million in illegal stock trades on Dallas-based Dean Foods. He is pleading simple.

Tom Davis, the previous president of Dean Foods, of Dallas, continued their testimony in the test of his one-time friend, the legendary gambler Billy Walters, on Wednesday. Walters is accused of making $43 million from illegal trades on Dean Foods’ stock, using information that is privileged supplied by Walters.

Because the star witness for the prosecution, Davis was expected by US Assistant Attorney Brooke Cucinella to reveal any unsavory information about his back ground which could later surface throughout the course of this test. This is standard practice, as it’s better that such info is presented to the court in advance in place of being wheedled from the witness later with a defense attorney.

And, boy, did Davis deliver!

The total number of Nevada poker tables will shrink once again if the Monte Carlo closes its poker space on April 25 as component of a $450 million renovation which will eradicate the card game through the resort.

It’s just the latest telling sign that poker doesn’t come with similar allure it once did.

Nevada poker tables continue to disappear completely from floors, as casino operators battle to justify the revenue they create in comparison to other gambling formats like slots and blackjack.

The number of Nevada poker tables has decreased by almost 30 percent over the last 10 years.

Poker’s heyday came after Chris Moneymaker won the global World Series of Poker Main Event in 2003 on an $86 satellite entry. Their $2.5 million win revolutionized the card game and exploded its worldwide appeal.

Moneymaker outplayed 838 other entrants during his historic win. The following year, the reward was doubled and the total field eclipsed 2,500. The tournament continued growing, and with it, gambling enterprises in Vegas modified their video gaming floors to support the influx of dreamers looking to make it rich and wannabe poker pros.

Across the continuing state, there were 907 poker tables in 2007. Now a ten years later on, that quantity will be reduced to simply 653 when the Monte Carlo closes its space.
